In the heart of a centuries-old forest, the Hautes Fagnes Royal Golf Club has one of the first courses designed by architect Tom Simpson, often referred to as a "Belgian Sunningdale".

Despite the relief of the Ardennes, it is flat and, since the 1930s it has been delighting players with its many doglegs, enchanting landscapes, and in season, a beautiful terrace overlooking the 9th hole. It also offers experienced golfers the dream and the challenge of attempting to beat the course record of 65 shots, held by Nicolas Colsaerts,  shareholder of the "Balmoral Villas" project.
